The 17th issue of HolQeD is about to go to press (that's vol. 5, no. 1, if
you're keeping track).
There's an assortment of interesting bits in this issue, including a short note
from Okrand about proverbs, and the new Klingon vocabulary from the upcoming
CD-ROM.
If your subscription to HolQeD (and membership in the KLI) has lapsed and you
just haven't gotten around to sending in your renewal form and payment I ask
that you do so in the next day or so.
This is particularly important for members living in the USA. That way your
copy of the latest issue can go out bulk mail, cutting the postage price by
4/5ths. It will also ensure you get your issue that much sooner; while I intend
to do the bulk mailng before I leave for Dublin, all incoming mail will sit
piling up in the KLI's mailbox while I'm out of the country speaking at IreCon
early next month.
So, whether you do it to help us keep prices down or simply to get your next
issue on time, please renew today. Thanks.
