Final Hamlet Update

It took the Post Office's EXPRESS MAIL three days to deliver the package (to a
post office, no less) but I finally received the box with the spec copies of
Hamlet.

I am well pleased. The regular edition is very nice, a solid piece of work,
well made and carefully crafted. I like it. I sat in my office holding and
muttering to myself "It's a book. It's a real book." I think you'll like it.

The deluxed edition is incredible. The only difference is the cover material,
but it looks lush and rich and fits wonderfully in one's hands. I'll be
traveling with one when I do conventions (and of course I'll bring one to the
qep'a') so even if you couldn't afford the donation that results in one, at
least you'll be able to see it.

Anyway, I'm going to be expressing mailing (won't I ever learn?) the balance of
payment to the book manufacturers tomorrow morning. In theory it will be there
when they come in on Monday morning and they'll cash it and then load the books
on a truck to be delivered to me on Thursday. If all goes well I'll be taking
them to the post office to mail out on Friday.

So, if you pre-ordered a copy of Hamlet, you should have it in less than two
weeks (okay, maybe a bit more if you're outside the USA).

My sincere thanks to everyone who has worked on this project. It is an
incredible feeling to know it's done. It's a book. It's a real book.

Qapla'

Lawrence
