I'm sorry, I thought I stated this before. Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (The
Restored Klingon Version) is expected to ship on March 29th.

As for the binding, I don't think you need to worry. The particulars of the
book construction are excellent. The signatures are smyth-sewn, the strongest
kind of binding available! The paper is recycled and acid free. The book
should outlive any of us with ease. Of course, that's not to say that you can't
destroy it if you put your mind to it. I'm sure doubling the spine repeatedly
will take its toll on even the finest book. However, if you're worried, buy
two, and keep one on the shelf. ;)

I have been contacted by individuals with an interest in translating Okrand's
TKD into other language (most often German), and I have referred them to the
folks at Simon & Schuster. If anything ever came of it I haven't heard.

I think things are actually going quite well on the international scene. I will
be journeying to Dublin, Ireland to speak at IreCon 6 in early April; I hope to
meet with Irish and other European KLI members while I'm there. I don't expect
members from Slovenia or Poland to make the trek, but I am hoping some of the UK
members can come. Similarly, I'm speaking at a convention in British Columbia,
Canada in May, and am eager to meet with any Canadian KLI members.

Obviously the burden is greater for foreign KLI members, they have fewer Klingon
contacts in their area. And yet, I suspect few of us even here in the US
actually meet on a regular basis with other Klingon speakers. The mailing
provides some interaction of course, as does the KLI MUSH and HolQeD, our
quarterly journal. Even so, KLI members are active in more than 30 countries.
Personally I'd like to see this double in the next few years.
