Hamlet Update

For those of you who are eagerly awaiting Hamlet here's the latest:
The pages have been photographed and the plates have been made. Printing has
begun. I anticipate receiving a set of cut and trimmed signatures (sort of a
"proof") late this coming week. I'll go over these very carefully and quickly.
If there are not errors then I'll call the folks in Michigan who are doing the
printing and tell them everything is fine and to go ahead with the binding.
Probably a week or so later I will receive samples of the finished book for
inspection. Again, if everything is fine I'll send the balance of our payment
to the folks in Michigan and they will ship several cartons of finished books to
me. While I'm waiting for this to happen I'll have printed and applied the
mailing labels to the mailing envelopes so that those of you who have already
paid for Hamlet can get it ASAP.
All in all, things are going along just fine. I wonder if this is how an
expectant father feels while pacing in the delivery room. Soon, my friends,
very soon.
