time
For "What time is it?", how about?:
DaHjaj qaSpu' rep 'ar?
(Literally, "How many hours have passed today?")
That would be the full form, but usually <DaHjaj> could be omitted:
qaSpu' rep 'ar?
You'd use the full form if there was some chance of confusion: e.g.,
if the crew were monitoring some process and the question "How long
has X been going on?" was also possible. Then, to disambiguate:
What time is it?
DaHjaj qaSpu' rep 'ar?
vs.
How long has the prisoner been under torture?
qama' joy'lu'taHvIS qaSpu' rep 'ar?
or
How long (is it) since we landed?
maSaqDI' qaSpu' rep 'ar?
