Letting the bastards get you down ...

Apparently, a recent subject discussed while I was away was the
translation of "Don't let the bastards get you down." Alan Anderson
was the closest with

{nI[whatever] taHqeqpu' 'e' yIchaw'Qo'}

where [whatever] can be chosen to be anything bad that happens to
you. Qapla'.

In the context of someone's comment on "wear you down" as compared to
"make you sad" or "make you tired," did anyone try the sentence

nIQopmoH taHqeqpu' 'e' yIchaw'Qo'

to see if it works?

I am the spirit in which your children and clowns laugh in happy anarchy. I am Chaos.
I am alive, and I tell you that you are free." - The Goddess Eris, Principia Discordia.
