I recently spent the weekend at Kling Kon where
the three "Blood Oath" Klingons and Dr. Schoen were the guests of
honor.
John Calicos, who played Kor, made it clear, tho a bit
tongue-in-cheek, that Kor is a MUCH older Klingon than this
upstart "Klingonist", Dr. Lawrence Schoen. He resented the
prescriptive nature of the KLI telling HIM how HE should
speak HIS language.
I got a bit of a chuckle out of it.
