Shhh! I was *sick*, remember? (I had to be sick to do this.{{;-) >)
But I had a great time. Liz, the assoc. producer, is really nice. marqem was
great. My recording took longer than HoD Qanqor & Holtej's, mainly because of
trying to mispronounce stuff. When we actually got to a word I knew, I'd mess
up. Mark guided me through it. He was a lifesaver.
I highly recommend having dinner with the good Captain. As we were walking to
our table, I heard a woman exclaim, "Oh my, that's a Klingon!" The guys missed
it, but I was giggling like crazy. I sat with my back to the wall, so I could
watch the people around us. Holtej & Krankor got into this big discussion (I
had to cover my coffee from flying expletives.), and this couple behind us
started giving us weird looks. They moved to another table soon afterwards.
("Them dang loud foreigners.")

The waiter was great. Even I got into it. About ten minutes before the above
conversation happened, he asked if we wanted anything. I raised my mug & barked
out, "qa'vIn." He replied, "Coffee, right."

It's fun playing "What will Okrand say next?" You know you're getting better
when you can find his mistakes.

Midnight, listening to <taHjaj wo'>. No, we weren't desperately trying to stay
awake. ;-)

pagh 'oH. It helped me more than you can realize. (Ready to hit the Beltway
next weekend?)

Get thee to Massachusetts!
