I like that less because it is a word more possibly associated
with the organ instead of the location.

Well, since experts disagree, this seems to be something to add
to the list of stuff to talk to Okrand about. It would be nice
if the one talking with Orand could try to offer this with a
minimum of agenda for a specific solution or avoidance of a
specific solution.
