Subject: Transmitting Data

Ok. Here's a good question about a confusing situation. In Klingon there
are two verbs:

lab transmit data (away from a place)
lI' transmit data (to a place)

Now, let me see if I have this correct. "lab" would be if I were on a
starship and I were transmitting data from my present loaction on the ship
to, say, an away team on a planet.
Then, "lI'" would be if I were on that very same ship and I were
transmitting data from an away team on the planet TO ME on the ship.

So, "lab" would be a flow of data going out, away, anywhere but here.
And "lI'" would be a stream of data coming towards me; at my way.

Did I get this right? Or am I really offbase?

William
