It's been too long since I've seen it . . . the place that blew up at the
beginning of the movie was either Praxis or a moon of Praxis. The Empire
was incredibly dependent on the energy produced by Praxis, hence the crisis -
the homeworld itself was never in any physical danger, only economic danger.
