what's the object of "Doy'" (how can there be one?)

Why "rojghach" instead of simply "roj"? It's a noun. Drop Dochvam; it
doesn't add anything. "roj yInej 'ej yItlha'": seek peace nd pursue it.
It doesn't say "pursue this thing."
