OFFICE MEMO KLBC: Suggestions... and more! Date:2/17/94

qajatlhneS:

I'm getting quite a response back from those of us who are just starting
out in the language (nice to see Rob and yaj from strek-l)... Just one
thing that would make this work VERY nicely...

I think it might help if we had some good examples of translation. I
suggest that, in the most part, you include what you're trying to say
in English with your Klingon. Although this tends to make people lazy
and not learn vocab., it will help us learn syntax. Any objections?

*Rob Lent* *yaj* je vIlegh (I see Rob Lent and "yaj".)

mu'mey tIghoj! (Learn words!)

vIpotlh mu'mey (Words are important) (I bet I need to add -moH to potlh!)

BTW: I am using the "them" prefix on "potlh"... Another way I phrased this
was "The books, they are important" (I good way to think for Klingon OVS
construction?)

thlIngan Hol SutIv (Enjoy Klingon)

vItIv (I enjoy it) (Ack... is this right? Do I use *'e'* in this case?)

Enough... Qapla'!

-mat
