I for one, LOVE the debate that Guido and chraghwI' have taken on the
last week or so.
This would be a GREAT question to present to Okrand via the official KLI

Does type 2 and type 5 suffixes describe the subject or object? Yes, No?
In what instances do they differ? Tell us more Oh diety of the
