The original (and considerably longer) piece appeared in the Village
Voice (a New York publication) back in November. However, the VV article
is more infamous among some KLI members as the reason that David
Berreby's article on the KLI and last year's summer camp did NOT appear
in the New York Times Sunday Magazine. The folks at the Times sat on the
piece, waiting for just the right moment, and then killed it when the VV
did their article.
