Oh, and if you use Perl, there's Lingua::Klingon::Recode (
http://search.cpan.org/~pne/Lingua-Klingon-Recode-1.02/lib/Lingua/Klingon/Recode.pm
), which I wrote ages ago.
It can not only convert to a sortable encoding but also to a more
readable one-letter-per-Klingon-sound encoding I call "xifan hol".
Lingua::Klingon::Collate (
http://search.cpan.org/~pne/Lingua-Klingon-Collate-1.03/lib/Lingua/Klingon/Collate.pm
) may also be useful, as it explicitly deals with sorting; its
"strxfrm" and "strunxfrm" convert to and from "uhmal gnj" encoding.
Cheers,
Philip
