I like it: the klingonaase equivalent to {jay'}. FYI here's what I have
about *khest* and it's derivatives in my Klingonaase notes:
*khest* - curse of many meanings: 1. strong curse equivalent to "fuck" 2.
to have intercourse with (vulgar) 3. to destroy, to fuck up, to screw up.
4. death (lit. "die" or "dying"), in a generic reference or when referring
to a non-sentient entity or concept (TFR) - "*Khest*, what now? And the
UFP's Diplomatic corps was about to *khest* everything. After her second
*khest*ed practice..." (AKS)
*khest'n* - adjective form of *khest*, roughly equal to "damned"
(apparently interchangeable with *khest't*) TFR - "What a *khest'n* waste." AKS
*khest't* - adjective form of *khest*, roughly equal to "damned"
(apparently interchangeable with *khest'n*) TFR
*khesterex* - "the structure that dies" (the opposite of *komerex*: a dead
culture that does not continue to grow or strive), non-growing, declining;
lit. "structure that dies"; often used to represent anarchy, death, doom,
etc., frequently in juxtaposition with *komerex* (lit. "structure that
grows"; i.e., *komerex tel khesterex* "empire or anarchy" and *Nal komerex,
khesterex* "that which does not grows, dies") TFR
*khesterex thath* - death trap; frontier scout; screwed up situation TFR
(AKS = Ann K. Schwader's stories and novels published in fanzines.)

Makes sense. It is a hardy grain. We know it's still grown in the 24th
century: Quark owed some quadrotriticale futures, but they became
worthless in 2373. (DS9 "Business As Usual" )

Klingons also have a ocean-going naval tradition. Cf. VOY "Barge of the
Dead". Also:
The Klingon Homeworld {Qo'noS}, usually rendered Kronos in
Federation Standard, is a planet with basically one very
large mass of land surrounded by ocean; perhaps continent
is a comparable concept. [KGT 16]

Vekak is a brand/model name I take it?

{yIntagh} "This is one of a number of Klingon curses that doesn't have an
adequate translation." (KCD)
Previous examples of its use:
"What kind of a yInTagh bar is this?" [KCD novel]
Gowron is about to be installed as the head of High Council, but
at the last moment a challenger appears: Toral, very young, claiming
to be the son of Duras, followed by Lursa and B'Etor. Gowron is not
pleased.
"This is outrageous! Duras had no mate - where did you find him,
Lursa? In a harlot's bed chamber?"
Toral steps forward: "I will personally cut your tongue out,
Yintagh!" [TNG "Redemption I"]
