As used in canon:

qoD QutlhwI' ngaDmoHwI'
inner support stabilizer (KBoP)

According to the BoP Poster, these are those ceiling supports flanking the
captain's chair on the bridge of a Bird of Prey that look like giant shock
absorbers. What it is they stabilize isn't exactly clear.

The derived noun from {ngaDmoH} "stabilize". Cf. also the verbs {ngaD} "be
stable, be balanced" and {ngaDHa'} "be unstable, be unbalanced".
