I read/heard recently, in terms of total size of the lexicon, English is
#1 with about 1.5 MILLION words. Second place? Around 150,000 words (I
think it was French). Klingon is not much different than French, really;
I refer you to the various articles about how the French government has
been trying to crack down on the phrases "e-mail" (officially, it's
"courrier electronique") and "walkman" ("baladeur"):

English has always been a much more "embrace & extend" kind of thing.
Particularly once Microsoft published the 'Encarta World English
Dictionary' (copyrighted by Microsoft, naturally) back in '99:
