AFAIK only the list administrator can change an address in the
database. What you as a subscriber need to do is simply unsubscribe your
old address, then subscribe to the list again using your new
address. (Just to be safe, I recommend that you subscribe your new address
first then, once you're receiving duplicate mailings to the new address,
you can safely unsubscribe the old address.)

Actually, the contact addresses are in the hidden headers of *every* post
from the mailing list. Most people don't realize that a lot of confusing
routing and informational headers are routinely suppressed in their view of
their emails. (See if your email program has a "reveal all headers"
option.) Here are the relevant ones:
Mailing-List: contact [email protected]; run by ezmlm
list-help: <mailto:[email protected]>
list-unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]>
This last suggests that the subscribe address would be
<[email protected]>
