Often that's the way we became convinced to join in the first place. I
finally committed to joining after Lawrence sent out the summary of the
"as...as" constructions that would be appearing in the most recent issue of
HolQeD. I realised I couldn't do without that sizable slab of grammar, and
finally coughed up the US$25 for membership... after five years of lurking.
