Is <jang> the right word to use for "answer" in the sense of
"answer the phone"? It works in English, but in some languages
one doesn't "answer" a phone. (For example, in Chinese the
verb used means "listen" to the phone; to "answer" the phone
would only work if the person on the other end is actually
awaiting an answer to a question.) In Star Trek, people often
answer/respond to/reply to a hail. What's the way to say this
in Klingon?
For "call someone on the phone", would <rI'> be understood by
most speakers of tlhIngan Hol? e.g. <jupwI' vIrI'meH ghogh
HablI' vIlo'>.
And what's a good Klingon way to express: "It (the phone call)
is for you"?
