As I promised lung (a.k.a. dragonwolf), here is the list of Klingon animals
(including birds, reptiles and insects) compiled with help from qoror.
Note that I have not included anything from Friedman's novel _Kahless_.
Ha'DIbaH -- general word for animal
lung loong general word for reptile (?)
bIQDep -- general word for fish
ghew -- general word for insect
boqrat bokrat used as food (especially the liver)
chemvaH -- makes a growling noise when in heat
Duran lung Durani lizard skin eaten as food
ghargh serpent worm called {qagh} when prepared as food
ghIlab ghew glob fly tiny with a loud, annoying buzz
lIngta' lingta used for food
lung loong salamander-like, lizard-like, skink-like
creature; tail used as food; "dragon"
mIl'oD sabre bear food animal hunted on Kang's Summit
mughato' mugato gorilla-like predator from Neural
norgh norg shark-like sea carnivore
pIpyuS pipius probably a crustacean; claws used as food
Qaj kradge tail used as food
Qa' kra (?) large (?) and vicious
Qa'Hom -- similar to a Qa', but much smaller;
in insults considered insignificant
Qa'raj -- --
Qogh krol (?) used as a pet; perhaps the reptile-dog seen
in ST3
raHta' racht larger type of edible worm
ro'qegh rokeg food animal (?) used in {ro'qegh'Iwchab}
(rokeg blood pie); possibly a name
Sargh sark horse-like riding animal
Suy' shooy also used as an insult
targh targ ubiquitous and popular boar-like pet and
food animal
teghbat teg'bat --
tIghla' t'gla also used as an insult
tIqnagh tknag also horse-like, but wilder; hooves
and meat used as food

Hmmm... quite a few for a fictional culture. Did I miss anything?
