Greetings.
Dawut here, reporting on the upcoming Klingon game from Microprose.
Scheduled for release in Fall of 1998 for Win95/98, the game entitled,
"Star Trek: The Next Generation: Klingon Honor Guard" [ST:TNG: KHG],
will feature the voices of Robert O'Reilly (as Chancellor Gowron),
Tony Todd (as Capt. Kurn), Gwynyth Walsh (as B'Etor) and Barbara March
(as Lursa). Based on the Unreal game engine, Klingon Honor Guard is a
first-person shooter in which you (the character played) and Capt. Kurn
track down and apprehend the perpetraitor of an assassination attempt on
Chancellor Gowron. KHG will offer Single Player mode with advanced "AI"
and Multi-Player mode for DeathMatch, Co-Op and CTF via Internet/LAN.
In addition to the familiar Klingon weapons (Daqtagh, betleH, nISwI')
for battle, the game is said to include the ability to drink bloodwine,
eat serpent worms and curse the enemy "in Klingon."
I've seen no mention of the KLI nor MO in the official and fan
information
available on the Internet, although many of the fan sites do use the
KLIpIqaDmey font in accordance with the accepted alphabet system.
As the sites' use of the {pIqaD} illustrates, Klingon Honor Guard has
been dubbed, {tlhIngan batlh 'avwI'}; although I've seen no mention of
the source of this translation of the game title.
