To translate a word you must translate the true meaning you wish to express,
not the apparent or true etymology of the word. The fact that word for the
study of knowledge in your language comes from a Greek word for love is
utterly irrelevant to the Klingons. Perhaps their word comes from a word
for pebble, because their early philosphers mused on the relationship of the
pebble to the world.
