No, this is the way it works. KGT explains (p. 82) that the ways to give a
noun two adjectives are either:
{V1}bogh N 'ej {V2}bogh
or
{V2} N 'ej {V2}.
And it seems to imply that you can do this with {'ach}, too. But, of
course, Qov's interpretation would have been right before KGT.
