As I mentioned in a follow-up post, this occured to me later.  I call words like
/Hoch, latlh/ and now /'aqroS/ "quality" words (just my own nomenclature).  I
originally thought of them as 'quantity' words, but I have trouble seeing
/latlh/ as a quantity.  /'aqroS/ also isn't a quantity; the English (?) word
that seems to come closest is "acme".  So /'aqroS qughDo/ would be something
like "The acme of the cruising speed".
