Announcements: HolQeD 28 w/ Okrand Interview!!!

HolQeD volume 7, number 4 (whole number 28) was turned in to the printer
yesterday. It features the longest and arguably the best interview we've
done with Marc Okrand in the last seven years (courtesy of Will Martin).
Will did an excellent job, and gets Marc to comment very specifically
throughout the piece. His remarks in this interview are going to produce
some big changes through the Klingon community. The issue also features one
of the best pieces of cover art we've done. Trust me, you'll like it.


Prices are going up every where, you don't need me to tell you that. So,
please check your membership, and if you need to renew do it now. The
sooner you do so, the sooner I can process them. It's much cheaper for the
KLI to mail issues out in bulk than for me to deal with a collection of
individual mailings that come in after the mailing. I

f you're not certain if you need to renew yet, renew anyway, we need the
money. Don't worry, you won't end up with extra copies of any issue, I'll
simply add four more to your current "last issue" number in the database.
Anyone who does this now gets in before any possible price increase.

On a related note, as the tax year is winding down, please give serious
consideration to a contribution to the KLI. Donations (at least from those
in the USA) are tax deductible. Some members like to send a check once a
year. others make monthly contributions, writing us a check each month when
they sit down to pay the other bills. Postage rates are going up again
soon, paper and printing rates have already climbed higher. Please send
what you can, as often as you can. After all, it's a given that you can't
hold on to it yourself, and since it has to go somewhere, it might as well
go the us. ;)
