There have been at least two such systems proposed while I've been on the
list, one using words, like the military "Alpha-Bravo-Charlie" and using
groups of sounds selected so as not to coincide with any Klingon word. When
spelling aloud, I make gestures in the air (usually to distinguish a {Q}
from a {q} for someone who is flipping through TKD) and say the sounds made
by the letters, except for {'} for which I say "mev."
I know there are some pIqaD specialists out there. ghoja', chay' pIqaD boDel?
