{pep} is "raise", not "rise".  {peplu'} "one raises him" is okay by me.

I'm not as sure as Qov is about {-ta'} vs. {-pu'} here.  {-ta'} seems
to focus more on the volition than I think is necessary.  The idea as
I understand it is merely that he was dead and now he isn't anymore,
though I guess whether or not that happened intentionally does have at
least *some* importance in the scheme of things.

I agree completely that {-bej} carries the "indeed" idea better than
{-chu'} does.
