I do agree with the statements, up to a point, but I also think that a
race which has been having connections with other species for a few
hundred years would pick up words from other languages and use them as
english speakers do.
After all, the etymology of these few sentences prove latin/greek/etc
background--tlhIngan words which seem to have no basis in the language
can be attributed to contact with other cultures.
