Klingon Language Guide

I noticed that the Klingon Language Guide I downloaded from the KLI FTP
site is slightly different from TKD. In particular, it gives some
explicatives that are not given in TKD. Might someone tell me if that
document should to be completely disregarded. Are only the words found in
TKD and the names that have been cataloged and that people have made for
themselves the only official {tlhIngon Hol} words we should be using in
writing and in speech?
