Re: Is there any GOOD Klingon on video?

I know I'm late on this comment, but...

NOOOOOOOO! HE IS MUTTERING GIBBERISH IN THAT SCENE!
Instead, take anything from the THIRD Star Trek movie,
Search for Spock. Christopher Lloyd is definitely the best
Klingon speaker ever to hit the silver screen. Nobody else
comes close.

Some of the stuff in ST6 is fine, but stick to major actors
and mostly stick to lines with subtitles. Besides an
occasional {vavoy} there isn't much there without a
subtitle worth studying. And at least one line (when the
warrior spreads a map out on the table) is COMPLETE
gibberish, even though it DOES have a subtitle. He seems to
like the vowel "uh" sound and the consonant "w", so he
repeats them a lot for a second or two.

Then again, point her to the audio tapes.

Every single one of them is garbage! Rarely is a word
recognizable, and when it is, it does not reside in
anything resembling a sentence. The TV cast couldn't call
off a charghing targh!

Well, the CD actors seem to be speaking a dialect such that
every Klingonist I've witnessed so far upon seeing it the
first time looks up with a quizzical expression. I
definitely recognized the word {SuvwI'pu'} in the middle
of Gawron's monolog once. Not much else.
