Yeah, that was probably the name... though mb- mf-, etc are not uncommon
initials in some African languages.  I have no trouble pronouncing them
either, but that doesn't mean nobody does.  After all, I have no trouble
pronouncing "th" but some people do... or those consonant clusters English
is famous for that Japanese speakers split up to fit their mouths and
phonology more comfortably.  The point was that even though Mf- is not a
permissible initial in English, we still write Mfume.  So too, even though
- -rD is not a permissible final in tlhIngan Hol (so far as we know), they
may still write it in transliteration, without necessarily indicating
that -rD really IS a permissible final.
