I went to the hotel site this morning and met with our liason to go over some
details. I hadn't been to the hotel in almost a year, and I'm pleased to report
some positive changes. The landscaping looked a little better, but of greatest
impact was the new CHOCOLATE SHOP that has opened on the premises! So in answer
to that time honored question, "nuqDaq yuch Dapol" the answer is now, "qep'a'Daq
yuch tu'lu'"
We also went over the list of confirmed reservations and plugged a few more
holes. At this point, I believe everyone who is supposed to have a room has
one. So far so good.
We also went over the particulars of the banquet. Right now it looks like we'll
have at least 20 people at the banquet, which ought to be quite splendid indeed.
While I don't have the actual menu in front of me (though I'll probably post it
when I do) I can tell you that your $25 buys you salad, rolls, main course,
veggies, desert pastries, and assorted beverages. The specific entrees will be
chicken, a vegetarian lasagna, and meatballs. The banquet will be served buffet
style so you can sample as much or as little of each thing as you like.
