This is quite possibly a bad thing. It is still quite unclear where the law
stands on such a device. Arguably, if you have one for your own use and you
have already purchased a copy of TKD, then you can make a case that the
translator is merely an archival version of a book you purchased. In this light
you are not infringing on copyright, nor are you taking money away from the
copyright holder since you already bought TKD.
However, when you put such a program out there on a web page, it's not for
personal use any more and it's not simply an archival copy. Now Paramount could
reasonably claim that because of your web page people are not buying TKD.
Doesn't matter whether or not YOU think it's reasonable, the big has a room for
of lawyers who have nothing better to do than litigate you till you drop.
I would strongly advise against keeping such this translator on your web page,
let alone spreading it around.
