Okrand never explained whether his English terms for numbers
followed the American or European standard. One presumes that
since he is American, he is using the American standard.
For anyone who doesn't know already, much of the world calls
1,000,000,000 "a thousand million" instead of "a billion". In
other words, their billion is a million millions, and their
trillion is... well... waaaay big.
Anyway, Okrand doesn't tell us how to handle numbers that big.
