Obviously, I would not approach someone and use {nuqneH}. However, nor
would I use it to acknowledge someone's approach. In good Klingon form, I
would simply wait to hear what they had to say. If, however, they
approached me, then simply stared, I would try to get their attention
back on track by saying {nuqneH}. This is the purpose of a hail, not to
be polite, but to get communication going.
