Ummm. Yeah, I can see how you came up with it, but I think I'd
stick with {puqlI' puqpu'} for "your grandchildren". It doesn't
require the creation of a new word, and while {vavlI'} is a
word, it is not your average composite, since {nI'} is a verb.
Of course, Glen Proechel created an entire set of new words to
describe an extended family like this, but I have to count
myself among those who discount these new words until such a
time that Okrand approves them.
As for the overall suggestion, well, I think several of us are
taking this one on from different angles. I doubt that any of
us are so much on target that the others should be discredited.

Yep. I think that given the vagaries of the definition, that
either {qeq} or {qeqmoH} works for me. It is, for Klingon, the
equivalent to the many varied spellings of words in Olde
English.
