[Tlhingan-hol] Story: ghuv = The Recruit - 36
Torg has just been found by Romulan soldiers, and been mistaken for a
wounded Romulan.

language].
tlhobba' 'a mu' <tlhIngan> neH ghov torgh. = "He obviously asks a question,
but Torg recognizes only the word Klingon." That's probably an error on my
part, because if I recall correctly, the Rihannsu for "Klingon" translates
to "more of them from somewhere else" and therefore wouldn't be a
recognizable word to Torg, unless for some reason he's learned that term in
Rihannsu. But we'll just imagine the Romulans have a slang term for the
Klingons that is close enough to what Klingons call themselves that Torg can
recognize it. Not an unreasonable assumption.
rIQwI' Da. rIQ = be injured; "He acts like one who is injured."
tlhov 'ej lurgh cha'meH ghop lo'. "He wheezes and uses a hand in order to
show a direction."
QumwI'vaD nom jatlh yaS 'ej mej, tlhejtaHvIS negh. The officer speaks for
the benefit of the communicator. "The officer speaks rapidly into a
communicator and leaves, while the soldiers accompany him."
machmo' torgh 'ej rol ghajbe'mo', bong romuluSngan yaS tojpu'. "Because Torg
is small and doesn't have a beard, he has accidentally tricked the officer."
Suvlu'taHvIS yapbe' HoS neH. - another proverb - Strength alone is not
enough in a fight.
yoD Sut chu'meH mIw tu' torgh. = Torg discovers the way to activate the
shield suit force field. "Torg finds how to turn on the armoured suit."
nuHmey yIr 'ej chob'a'Daq ghoS. = "He gathers weapons and goes proceeds
along the main corridor." chob'a' ghoS= goes into the main corridor. With
-Daq and ghoS, the ghoSing is in and not to the location.
