Klingon engineering, and not a plot point. Although most of the
plot so far has been driven by terrible Klingon engineering. See, Klingon
nerds rarely survive high school.<br>

I'm not sure they've adhered strictly to it for a single day of the
story, but that's the theory, and the cycle of watches still marks the
passage of time. That blog also has all the 'ay'mey of the story so far,
