To follow up on my own message:

Whatever the origin of the word, I think it's clear
that "Bible" is now simply the name of this
particular work, and should be referred to in
Klingon in that way, eg. {baybel paq}.  This is
what I would do to refer the the Qu'ran, the
Bhagavad Gita, the Dhamapada, etc., so why not
the Bible?
