Dilbert Comic in Klingon for February 2, 2007

pm5 ([email protected])

Greetings Warriors:

Here is my translation for dialogues in [Dilbert Comic for February 2,
2007][1]. Corrections and advises are welcome.

        pIn: {qatlh De'wI' mIw SeHlawDaq chu'wI'vam vIchel?} (1)
Boss: "Why did you add this button to the user
           interface?"

     DIlbot: {chora'.} (2)
    Dilbert: "You told me to."

        pIn: {qatlh qara'?} (3)
Boss: "Why would I tell you that?"

     DIlbot: {reH lo'laHghachqoq chenmoHmo' choH mIS Dachup.} (4)
Dilbert: "You always suggest random changes to create
        the illusion of adding value."

        pIn: {toH. yIteq.} (5)
       Boss: "Well, remove that button."

     DIlbot: {ghaj latlhlIj neH.} (6)
Dilbert: "It's only on your copy."

Some of the words I've chosen:
"user interface" - *{De'wI' mIw SeHlaw} "program control panel"
"button" - {chu'wI'} "trigger"
"random change" - {choH mIS} "mixed up change"
"your copy" - {latlhlIj} "your additional one, your other one".

"Illusion of value" is simplified to {lo'laHghachqoq} "so-called
value" because I don't know how Klingons dream/see
illusions/imagine...
