Neither have been used in canon.

Discussed by Okrand:

The usual word for the popular hairstyle called a "ponytail" in
Federation Standard is {DaQ} ... Incidentally, a slang expression
for "ponytail holder", usually {choljaH}, is {Qeb}, the regular
word for "ring" (for the finger)." (KGT 154-55)

Related nouns:

{jIb} "hair on head"

>Homonyms:
> Qeb (noun) - ring (for finger)

Never used in canon.

Cultural note:

A *gin'tak* (an advisor so trusted he has been made part of the family)
wears a special ring, bearing the crest of the House he has pledged his
life to defend. (TNG "First Born")

Related nouns:

{qewwI'} "ring finger"; cf. also {gho} "circle"
