As used in canon:

   meQtaHbogh qachDaq Suv qoH neH
Only a fool fights in a burning house. TKW

   Ha'DIbaHmey meQ Sop 'e' tIv tera'nganpu'
Terrans enjoy eating burnt animals. CK [sic! for {*lu*tIv}]

   to'waQ meQ vutwI'
   The cook burns the tendon.

Cultural notes:

While tendon or ligament ({to'waQ}) that has been deep-fried
is one of the few hot dishes enjoyed by most Klingons, burnt
tendon is definitely a culinary gaffe. (KGT 191)

Another popular dish, {qul DIr} ("fire skin"), is made by
soaking cut up pieces of animal skin, from whatever animal
is available, in a strong liquor, then removing them from
the solution and setting them afire just before serving.
The dish is eaten quickly, while the pieces are still
   burning." (KGT 93)

Related verbs:

   {laQ} "to fire/energize [e.g. thrusters]"

Related nouns:

   {qul} "fire"
