Here's my second answer:
Another way to say "stumble" is say "almost fall": {tlhoS pum}, remembering
that {tlhoS} ("almost, nearly, virtually, not quite") is an adverbial that
comes at the beginning of its clause. Synonyms for {pum} "fall" include {ghIr}
"descend", {chagh} "drop", {joD} "stoop", {Dej} "collapse", {Sab} "deteriorate,
decline".
The only problem with {qetHa'} is that it has no established or obvious
meaning. If you want it to mean "stumble", go for it.
