The best way I know of to learn what is in the vocabulary is to copy
it, a word at a time. You might not remember many of the words, but
you'll definitely remember that they exist, and you'll have a better
idea about what to look up.

When I was at the stage of learning how to read Klingon sentences, I
found it easier to leave the translated words and affixes in their
original order, and apply Klingon grammar to the result. It's mostly
the grammar you need to internalize anyway. Vocabulary is trivial
enough that a computer can translate it, and you can pick it up as
you go along.
