As soon as you write your own suggestions on the map, you're trying to
change the language instead of just using it.  Why wouldn't you expect the
others who use the language to object?

I won't deny that exploring uncharted territory is a good thing in general.
However, there's a fundamental problem.  The Klingon language has no native
speakers we can ask to find out what unobvious meanings might be carried by
a given word.  If the goal is to communicate, one ought to avoid the blurry
sections of the map and stick to the well-marked areas.
