When I usually look at {yu'egh}, I do think of an ocean wave.
Another possible interpretation could be a sound wave. Note that 
individually, the syllables of {yu'egh} are notes of the Klingon musical 
scale - {yu} and {'egh}. So maybe the two alternating notes {yu} and {'egh} 
make a Klingon think of a vibrating sound wave.
