Maybe you won't change your religion, but the Klingon proverbs and way of thinking grammatically makes you 
think a bit different... But I guess you know that from learning other languages.

I don't think anyone was offended, we just all have fun learning the language while correcting mistakes we find. 

One doesn't have to behave as a Klingon here of course, I believe we have many people on the list who don't 
even know much of Star Trek, but learn the language just because it's tlhIngan Hol jay'!

A Klingon Way to apologize is to regain one's honor, using a so-called replacement proverb.

On Power Klingon they are described using the example of a guys who drops food during a dinner. Everybody 
looked at him, but continued eating after he said on of the following sentences:

The Fek'lhr strikes again.
HIvqa' veqlargh

Put fire aside when there is danger.
DopDaq qul yIchenmoH QobDI' ghu'

The fire is always hotter on someone else's face.

{HIvqa' veqlargh} is used very often on this list, because it is the shortest.
